Christian Navarro
President & Principal
Born in Mexico City and raised in Palm Springs, California, Christian Navarro grew up fully exposed to the world of food and entertainment through his mother, who was a hotel and restaurant consultant. Navarro moved to Los Angeles at nineteen to pursue a career as an artist, and took a job to pay the bills at a local wine shop sweeping the floors and helping the owner clean. It was then that he developed a passion for wine tasting and began building his reputation in the industry as being one of Los Angeles' most knowledgeable experts. His reputation caught the attention of Wally's founder Steve Wallace, who took Navarro under his wing. Together they traveled the world, meeting renowned figures, tasting glorious old wines, discovering delicious foods and grew Wally's into a globally recognized wine retailer.
Named “The Wine Therapist to the Stars" by The New York Times, Christian Navarro's clients include many of the most powerful players in the financial, political, art, and entertainment world. When Hollywood trendsetters and power brokers want to know what wines to collect, give as gifts, or serve with dinner, Navarro is the man they call.
In addition to food and wine, Navarro's other interests include art, travel, and cooking--he is an accomplished cook, having worked in the kitchens of many of the country's top chefs. He also believes in giving back. Navarro is on the Board of Directors for Food on Foot, a volunteer-based, non-profit organization providing the poor and homeless of Los Angeles with nutritious meals, clothing, and assistance in the transition to employment and life off the streets. -
Paul & Marice Marciano

Paul and Maurice Marciano grew up in Marseilles, France and moved to Los Angeles in 1981, where they founded a small denim company that developed into the iconic denim lifestyle brand, GUESS?, Inc. Both brothers have been instrumental in the growth and prosperity of the company, with Maurice serving as Chairman and CEO from 1993-2007, and continuing to serve as a Director of the Company. Paul served as co-CEO alongside Maurice and continues to serve as Executive Chairman of the Board and Chief Creative Officer for GUESS.
Growing up in the South of France, the Marciano brothers developed a love for red wine early in life. Maurice's passion for wine led him to Napa Valley, where he acquired a historic property on the outskirts of St. Helena and undertook creating his own winery estate. Embarking on a total overhaul, Maurice painstakingly re-planted the vineyard, built a winery and added groves of Italian and Spanish olive trees to create his own signature blend of extra virgin olive oil. Marciano Estate now stands as one of the finest winegrowing and olive oil estates of Napa Valley.
In June, 2013, their love of wine led the brothers to another venture, partnering with Christian Navarro to purchase Wally's Wine and Spirits, the landmark purveyor of wine and spirits in Los Angeles. In December, 2014, they expanded Wally's into a second location in Beverly Hills, where the wine store is complemented by a gourmet food store, a wine tasting bar and restaurant. "This is everything that we enjoy the most in life and want to share it with everybody" Maurice has said of the Beverly Hills location. -
